Special advisor to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Christopher Mutsvangwa, said he was appointed the Zanu PF secretary for science and technology to cause Jonathan Moyo “pain”.
Moyo, who is now reportedly in exile following last month’s coup, was Zanu PF secretary for science and technology- a post now held by Mutsvangwa. He was also the minister of higher education.
According to New Zimbabwe, Mutsvangwa and Moyo do not see eye-to-eye and were always attacking each other prior to the coup which assisted Mnangagwa and the army to force Robert Mugabe out of power last month.
“This was done just to make sure that Jonathan Moyo feels the pain,” Mutsvangwa told a Christmas dinner held in Norton by Member of Parliament, Temba Mliswa, recently. newzimbabwe
